Carpet Gardens - artists impression

About

Eastbourne's colourful Carpet Gardens, located between the Bandstand and the Pier, are the centrepiece of Eastbourne's Promenade.

Please note the gardens are currently being restored and renovated this year to trial a sustainable planting showcase, offering greater biodiversity and the removal of an invasive weed.

The plants are perennials which will grow and mature over time, changing visually with the seasons with year-round floral and foliage interest.

The image on this page shows an artists impression of the final design once the plants are fully grown.
